Review: French label Laboratoire Osbolete have carefully built a space in which artists are let the title of sound alchemists, transmuting ferrous sonic metals into precious bezoars. Trajano is their latest metal-mogrifier to join their arcane ranks, and here they manifest the brilliant 'Formulas' EP: another demo of alchemical audial abilities audited afore our ears. 'Pipeta' brings a pipettes' worth of volatile liquid compound to our tympanic lobes, while 'In The Lab' and 'Formulas' leads us down an increasingly obsessive path, as we join Trajano in synthesising the ultimate lucky liquid, with reactive chemistries of ripply synth swirls and distant film dialogue.
